1952
Pharmacist Wadie Burgan established Burgan Drugstore in Jordan.
1989
BDS expands to include a Nuclear Medicine Division and a consultancy program for existing representations into Yemen and Iraq.
1991
BDS expands to include a Dental Division with exclusive representation of leading manufacturers.
1992
Basel Burgan completes purchase of 99% ownership of Burgan Drugstores.
1993
BDS expands to include a Diagnostics Division to specialize in hormones and infectivity, histology and serology.
1996
BDS establishes a Regulatory Affairs and Registration department to facilitate the quick entry of new agencies and new projects into the market.
2003
BDS moves to new offices in the Tla’ Al Ali neighborhood of Amman, near the University of Jordan, that is 1080 M2.
2009
BDS offices are expanded to accommodate business growth and new staff.
2010
Commission and operation of the first blood irradiators ever introduced to the Jordanian market for the Royal Medical Services and the King Abdullah University Hospital. This technology assists in bone marrow transplant and other surgical procedures.
2015
Best growth in the MENA region award was given to BDS by Diasorin SPA.
2017
Best growth in the MENA region award was given to BDS by Cavex Holland.
